Kenya Nicholas is an entrepreneur and advocate for new businesses and those seeking entrepreneurship. She began her quest for entrepreneurship in real estate, as both an agent and an investor, in 2000. This experience has broadened her knowledge of the importance of investing and building strong communities.
Kenya saw a crucial void between those with great businesses/business ideas and investors seeking investment opportunities. It was out of this void that she birthed The Capital Summit. Her goal is to assist new, potential, and existing businesses by connecting them with available resources in the forms of private investors, commercial lenders, government programs, and even local celebrities seeking to invest in their communities.
Kenya is currently employed with the Federal government as a Program Director and as an Outreach Coordinator. She is a Florida native and currently resides in the State of Maryland. She attends Strayer University majoring in Business Administration. She is also a novice in the arts and has written numerous concepts for plays, television shows and movies.
Kenya is married to Jamald Nicholas and they have two children, daughter Omi (13) and recently graduated with dual degrees, son Tre’ (22).
